Spielbeschreibung

Classic Jumpman is an unofficial recreation of Epyx' Jumpman that is very close to the original game, but runs on more modern hardware where the PC Booter version would be simply unplayable.

The player controls the eponymous Jumpman, and the task is to collect all yellow circles (originally intended to represent bombs), while taking care to not fall off from big heights, get hit by "smart darts" or run into other hazards that vary from level to level.

Classic Jumpman closely follows the PC Booter port of the game (which was originally developed for the Atari 8-bit platform), but adds the Practice mode option that allows to play any level from a selection screen. The game also features more colourful VGA graphics and Sound Blaster sound effects and music, but is otherwise similar to the original Jumpman.
