Spielbeschreibung

Equality 2 is a direct sequel to Equality, a somewhat unusual falling-block puzzle. The gameplay is identical, but there are more levels and a two-player split-screen mode has been added.

Just like in the original game, the objective in each level is to arrange blocks of a certain type into a pattern that is shown in the top right corner of the screen. The player is then given random blocks, one by one, which must be dropped on a scale-like structure in the centre of the screen. The more blocks there are on each side, the lower it will go, and going too low will punish the player with rows of extra blocks, nullifying previous progress. So the player must be careful to drop blocks in such a way that the scales are close to being even while arranging the required pattern.

The shareware version of Equality 2 includes a whopping 118 levels and as such is a full game in its own right. The full game promises more levels and the two-player split-screen mode. Developer TLK Games still sells a Windows version of this puzzle, simply called Equality.
