Spielbeschreibung

Fate is an unreleased first-person shooter on the Build engine that mixes sci-fi and fantasy elements. The story takes place on a distant planet where peaceful human-like colonists run into aggressive magic-wielding natives, while the colonists' distant relatives who have formed a high-tech militaristic society arrive to take the planet by force. The player character is a colonist taken captive by the militants who wants to escape.

The game was never completed, and only one demo version exists that contains four levels. There are some clever design tropes like making an escape through an air duct at the start of the game, and the enemy AI appears somewhat advanced, but the game feels unbalanced and unfair to the player. Thankfully, you can press F8 at any time to turn on invincibility and freely explore the levels.
