This is an unofficial source port of the Macintosh release of Wolfenstein 3D, based on the original Mac source code.

If you didn't know already, the Mac version features several improvements over the PC original, including higher-resolution sprites and textures, some new items, automap, better sound effects, authentic digitized German speech for the enemies, and different music. Additionally, the shareware version of the Mac release offers unique, heavily edited versions of shareware levels.

The DOS port includes the entire shareware episode, but you can convert the files from the retail Macintosh releases (if you own those) and play them as well. There are different binaries for 286 and 386 CPUs. The port is a work-in-progress, and some features like game menus, originally implemented as Mac-native menus, are still missing, but the game is fully playable.
