Spielbeschreibung

This is a sample game showcasing a new cross-platform point-and-click adventure game engine called Perentie. The story takes place on a spaceship that's got an engine failure, and the player's objective is to patch things up using impromptu solutions, with the trusty wrench as the only "official" tool at your disposal.

The game features some really good pixel art, especially for a sample piece of software, but the most praise should go towards clean, minimalistic interface that allows smooth controls with just a two-button mouse.

Maura & Ash is available for DOS, Windows and Linux as separate downloads. The DOS version should work equally well in DOSBox and on authentic hardware, although it is unknown if the latter option was tested. The game is released as freeware under the GNU GPL v3 license with the full source code, but you can send the author a donation via the itch.io page using the "Name your own price" option when downloading.
